Daffodils Day Nursery

Educational Provision and Curriculum

Keyworker The nursery is a high quality provision. Our curriculum is based on the individual needs of the child.

All children will be allocated a key worker at the start of their time at Daffodils. All children will follow the foundation stage. Regular observations on each individual child will be taken and recorded in an assessment folder.

This will assist the staff team in planning to include the needs of individual children and identify areas that need encouragement. The Foundation stage consists of six areas of learning as follows:
  • Personal Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication, Language and Literacy
  • Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World
  • Physical Development
  • Creative Development
