Points Relevant to the Daily Routine

Bubbles
  • All children are given an opportunity to take part in every activity. Some children do not like certain activities. We will use gentle persuasion. If at any stage we are concerned about your child, we will talk to you and see how we can encourage the child more. All nursery activities, toys, games and equipment are designed to help your child learn, understand and develop in all areas of the curriculum through play.

  • All the doors allowing access to the outside are locked through the day. Gates in the garden are also bolted. Children are not allowed in the kitchen alone. Children are encouraged to use the toilet independently though there is adult supervision at all times. No strangers are admitted to the nursery and no information about the children is given to any visitors happening to visit the nursery.

  • If there is a change in your contact details please ensure that you inform the nursery staff immediately. If you are unable to pick up your child please call the nursery to let us know who will be collecting them. No one other than authorised person will be able to collect your child from the nursery.

  • All children will be encouraged to eat the snack, tea and meals offered. Different tastes will be offered and children will be encouraged to try them. Please inform the nursery of any allergies or particular dislikes.
