Things to bring to the Nursery
We suggest the parents kit out the children with the following items:
- Spare set of clothes
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Photograph
- Blanket
- Nappies / Pull ups
- Wet wipes
Please label all items with your child’s name.
Clothing
We request parents not to send children with expensive clothes to the nursery. Aprons are provided to protect children’s clothes. All our playing material such as paint, dough etc are washed out easily, however this may not be the case always. Children are far happier if they do not have to worry about spoiling their clothes.
Children should wear easy pull on and off trousers. Also shoes should be easy to put on. At Daffodils we aim to make children as independent as possible.
Jewellery
In the interest of safety we will only allow stud earrings to be worn. We reserve the right to remove any earrings that are not suitable. We do not accept responsibility for any items lost at nursery.
